Shipping Instructions
If you are shipping a mic to us for a mod service, please do not ship it in its original case. This is unnecessary, and simply increases the cost of shipping for both of us. Instead, wrap the mic generously in bubble wrap, use some tape to secure the bubble wrap (so the mic doesn’t get unwrapped during shipping), and ship your mic/s in a small shipping box. If you are shipping multiple mics, wrap each mic separately in it’s own bubble wrap.
If the box is much larger than the mic, add extra bubble wrap or other filler material (e.g., wadded-up paper) to keep it from moving around too much, and prevent it from being damaged in shipment. Please note that it’s your responsibility to ship your mic/s safely (and sensibly) to us, and we are not responsible for any damages that may occur during the shipping process. If you choose to use styrofoam packing peanuts or other loose filler material (which we generally don’t recommend), please enclose your mic first in a plastic bag before placing it in the box. Otherwise, the capsule of your mic can get downright dirty and possibly even damaged during shipping, as there is often lots of dirt and grime mixed in with those packing peanuts. Finally, when you ship your mic, please e-mail a tracking number to us so we will know when to expect it.
After receiving payment for a mod service, we will promptly contact you with our shipping address so you will know where to ship your mic (we don’t publish it here publicly to reduce the amount of junk mail that we receive). When your mods are complete, we will ship your mics back to you, usually via USPS Priority Mail with tracking and insurance. We will also e-mail you the tracking number so you will know when to expect your mic/s. If you have any more questions about shipping, please feel free to send us a message through the Contact page.
